Shima Lee Ann Benko

Shima (teacher/master) Lee Ann Benko has been exploring, learning, and teaching martial arts and bodywork/energy healing for over twenty years. She is dedicated to helping her students understand how to discover and channel their vital energy, or Qi, for empowerment, healing, and positive change. In 1995 Shima Lee Ann attended her first Tai Chi class with Shifu Tao Shih Pei Wo Lun at the Oriental Healing Arts Center. She is still learning and taking his classes. Shima Lee Ann is also the program director of the Alaska Institute of Tuina, as well as the creator and instructor of a state certified Tuina Medical Acupressure Therapy certification course.
